5. Bread
When temperatures soar, people tend to think it’s too hot out in the kitchen for the bread. Their solution is to refrigerate it. This is not a good idea at all. The cold that your fridge generates dries bread out.
The consistency of the bread changes, and it becomes hard. Refrigerated bread tends to go stale quicker than bread that is stored in a dark place at room temperature. That’s why a bread bin is an ideal place to store bread.
