8. Cabin Fever
The 2016 remake of Cabin Fever acts as a more distilled version of the original film, hitting many of the same beats while dispatching the annoying college students in increasingly gruesome ways. Like the original film, the 2016 remake opens with a man being sprayed in the face with blood from his dog that has rotted from the inside out. This scene is certainly enough to send animal lovers running, but it hardly fits in with the 70% watch rate Netflix has touted.
Viewers probably switched over to a less bloody film after Karen (Gage Golightly) is pulled out of a shed where she’s been sleeping and begins to puke blood all over herself, her friends, and their jeep.
