Albert Gonzalez is responsible for one of the biggest hacks in history. Using his skills, he masterminded a large credit card scheme which stole about $200 million, from 170 million credit cards, and ATM numbers. He did all this in only 2 years, it was the biggest credit card theft in human history, securing him his place as one of the greatest hackers of all time.

Eventually he was caught and sent to prison for a total of 20 years. Chat logs revealed that his goal was to gain $15 million, buy a yacht and retire. While committing this scheme he was actually working for the US Secret Service, and earning $75,000 a year.
